Meet Loren Walden
-
My Background
I used to run almost every day to stay fit. When that was taken away from me because of injuries, it was a big change for me. I really missed the runner's high and that feeling of freedom that running delivers. Fortunately, my injuries didn't prevent me from surfing, so I had a great substitute activity, but it just wasn't the same as running.

My Elliptigo Experience
My favorite part about riding the ElliptiGO is the endorphin rush. I get the runners high again. It's just like running. When I was a runner, I would come home, throw on my shoes and run. And that's what I do now. I come home, throw on my shoes, hop on the ElliptiGO and ride. I go for about an hour, take on the toughest hill I can find, and when I get back home I get that post-running blissful feeling again. It's great.

My Background
I love sports and having fun. I ski, golf and travel as much as I can. Being active and enjoying life is really important to me, so I seek out fun activities. This is what led me to the ElliptiGO — it just looked like so much fun.

My Elliptigo Experience
When I first got on it, I was a little afraid because I thought it would be hard to balance and hard to ride. But almost immediately I felt comfortable. It's just a glide motion. You just get on it and find your balance. Once you click into that stride, it becomes very simple to just keep your balance and go. It didn't take very long at all before I was cruising around town and having a blast while getting a terrific workout.

Meet Robert Gottlieb
-
My Background
I've always been physically active - running, cycling and going to the gym. I look for low impact ways to get my heart rate up and stay in shape. I'm planning to remain active to help me stay healthy for as long as I can.
-
My Elliptigo Experience
When I first got on the ElliptiGO, my natural reaction was to try to do a stepping motion, more like cycling or a stairmaster in the gym. So it took me about 5-10 seconds to figure out that it's more of an elliptical glide motion. As soon as I got that figured out, it became very natural. I can go for long periods of time and there is very little impact on my body, I am not sore or fatigued the next day. And I'm ready to get back up on the ElliptiGO and go for another ride.

Meet Paul Kirincich
-
My Background
I was a cyclist for many years and enjoyed riding in some really challenging events. For example, I've done The Death Ride six times because it's such a fun and difficult course. As much as I loved the experience of cycling, I had to give it up because it became too uncomfortable for me. Running wasn't something I could do either, so I really didn't have a good option for outdoor exercise.

My Elliptigo Experience
At first I was worried about balancing, but it turns out that balancing on the ElliptiGO is easy - much easier than I expected. More importantly, the ElliptiGO got my heart-rate up immediately. After I did my first few rides, I was really surprised how hard I was working when I didn't perceive myself to be working that hard. It was fun, comfortable, and weight-bearing. And, unlike cycling, you're standing up high so you can see everything in front of you.

Meet Linda Copp

My Background
I was an accomplished marathoner in the 1980s but lost the ability to run for fitness about 15 years ago. I never really took to cycling — it just wasn't like running for me. Over time I'd forgotten how much running meant to me as a person and it took the ElliptiGO to bring that experience back to me.
-
My Elliptigo Experience
It's surprisingly easy to balance and, most importantly, it feels like I am actually running again out on the streets. The first time I rode it was the most liberating and exhilarating experience because I felt like I was myself again. The ElliptiGO handles great and climbs and descends hills really well. Now I'm riding my ElliptiGO 3-4 times per week for about an hour and a half each time and I feel like I'm getting stronger with each workout.
